Mohali: Register yourself to meet senior cops

MOHALI: If you want to meet a senior police official at the office of senior superintendent of police in Sector 76, you will first have to register yourself.
After an appointment has been fixed, the officials at the ground floor will note down your name, address and mobile number and then screen and sanitise you.
“This will help check the spread of infection.With the step, there is less public in the office,” said a cop at the registration desk. Superintendent of police, investigation, Harmandeep Singh Hans said “Registrations will help in contact tracing, too.”
